Eduardo Paredes

Bolivian/Brazilian violinist Eduardo Paredes began his musical studies in Cochabamba, Bolivia before moving to the Netherlands with the help of the Rotary Club at age 14.
Eduardo performs extensively across four continents as recitalist, chamber musician and soloist in halls such as Carnegie Hall(Weill recital hall 2008) in New York and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, and in halls in the Netherlands where is he based. He plays chamber music together with the Stanislavsky String Quartet and with his wife the cellist Isabel Vaz, with the New European Ensemble and the trio 258. He is the artistic director of FIMCA, a chamber music festival in Faro, Portugal
 He studied with, Ofer Falk,Pinchas Zukerman,Gordan Nikolic, Joan Berkhemer and graduated from the Rotterdam Conservatory with a Master of Music degree in 2010. He has received coaching and masterclasses from some of the foremost pedagogues  and artists, such as P. Vernikov, Robert Cohen, J. Rouvier,  D. Ferschtman and from the members of the Vermeer, Fine Arts, Alban Berg and Parkanyi quartets
